Faster quotes
Prepare quotes faster.
Keep clients moving.
A client asks for a quote. You already know the service and how you price it. They should not have to wait while someone finds an old proposal and rebuilds it by hand.
Dux builds automatic quote preparation around your approved prices and scope rules. The system turns a suitable enquiry into a draft in your format, asks for missing details and leaves the final approval and sending with your team.
How it works
From enquiry to a quote you can check.
We start with one repeatable service and agree its pricing rules. The workflow uses those rules to prepare the scope and calculate the price, then puts the draft into your proposal format.
If the client has missed a quantity or asked for something outside the agreed service, the system flags it. Your team resolves the question before the proposal is approved. Routine preparation happens automatically; commercial decisions stay with you.
What we put in place
Built around the way you quote.
The implementation covers the agreed quoting workflow, including your approved rate card and proposal template. We test ordinary requests alongside incomplete and unusual ones, then show your team how to use the process.
This works best when you sell a substantial service repeatedly and already know how you price it. If each project needs a completely new scope, we first need to establish which parts can usefully be standardised.
Why response time matters
Keep the conversation moving.
Research published in Harvard Business Review in 2011 found that firms attempting contact within an hour of an online enquiry were nearly seven times as likely to qualify it as firms waiting another hour.
The study measured lead qualification, not quote turnaround or closed sales. It supports prompt follow-up; it does not establish a sales uplift from faster quotes. Read the research.
Questions
What you may want to know.
Will it send quotes without checking with us?
No. This workflow prepares a draft. A person approves the final quote and sends it.
Does it decide our prices?
It uses the pricing and scope rules you approve. Missing information and requests outside those rules need a decision; the system should not invent a price to complete the document.
How much faster will it be?
That depends on your current process and the service you quote for. We establish the baseline and test preparation time and correction effort with representative requests. We do not promise a fixed number of minutes or a higher close rate.
Implementation help
Where could your quoting move faster?
Tell us which service you quote for and how you prepare the document today. We will look at what can be automated and what still needs your judgement. One or two lines is enough; Alistair reads every message and will reply using your preferred contact method.
