About Dux
You’ll work
directly with us.
Dux is run by Alistair Anthony. We help owner-led businesses use AI to bring in more work and improve how they handle it.
About Dux
AI applied to
growing a business.
We work on the things that connect a business to its next customer. That can mean a website that explains the offer properly, or a cold email system for approaching relevant firms. We also look at what happens once the interest comes in.
We usually start with an AI Opportunity Sprint. We examine how the business works and prepare a Roadmap, so we can explain why a particular project is worth considering.

AI & delivery
Alistair Anthony
Alistair looks after the AI and delivery side of Dux. He has experience building cold email systems that find the right businesses and write to them, and LinkedIn outreach that runs without someone at the keyboard all day. He has also built classifiers that read incoming leads and work out which ones deserve a reply, and automated a data migration that would otherwise have been done by hand.
He started using these tools for himself and got more and more hooked as he saw how much something like Claude Code changed what he could get done. He began teaching his peers at Oxford how to use them; the teaching spread to business owners, and grew into Dux.

The recommendation
depends on the work.
We are not affiliated with a model provider or software company, and nobody sponsors what we recommend. Much of our own work happens in Claude Code and Codex, but that does not mean they are the answer to every problem.
If something you already pay for will do the job, we would rather tell you that than add another subscription.
What we believe
More time to do
something useful.
A small team may be able to take on more work if less of the week goes into administration. That is one reason we look beyond sales and marketing during a Sprint: the work behind the scenes can limit how much a business is able to grow.
What you do with the time you get back is up to you. Put it back into the business, or take it home and see more of your family. We want the work to make a difference you can recognise in your own week.
Why Dux
A name that
means “leader”.
Dux is Latin for leader or guide. The column in our wordmark is Doric, the plainest of the classical orders.
